Topographic plan 1:2000
Topographic plans at 1:2000 for housing estates, settlements and master planning: 1 cm = 20 m, relief typically at 1 m contours.
Licensed service · EL-845/2026
On a 1:2000 topographic plan one centimetre equals twenty metres on the ground. The scale lets you see an entire housing estate, village, rural area or large campus on a single sheet. Buildings are shown by their outlines, while streets, roads, watercourses, woodland and orchards are generalised and small structures appear as conventional symbols.
A 1:2000 plan is the backbone of urban planning documents, master plans for new residential districts, detailed area planning projects and infrastructure schemes. Municipalities, developers and design institutes use it to assess a territory, lay out street networks and position blocks; more detailed plans for individual plots follow at later stages.
Relief is most often shown with 1 m contours, 0.5 m on very flat ground and 2 m in mountainous areas. The normative mean error for well-defined features is 0.5 mm at plan scale, roughly 1 m on the ground.
For areas of tens or hundreds of hectares the most efficient method combines drone photogrammetry or laser scanning with ground control points measured by GNSS RTK. This delivers both speed and consistent accuracy, and in addition to the plan you also receive an orthophoto and a digital terrain model.
