Landscape survey
Detailed survey for landscape design, gardens, parks and villa grounds: dense spot heights, existing planting, paths, walls and small structures.

A landscape survey is a topographic plan tailored to landscape architects and designers. Compared with a standard plan, it captures subtle changes in relief and records planting, paths, steps, retaining walls, pools, fountains and garden structures in greater detail. The aim is to preserve as much of the existing setting as possible while building the new landscape design on a reliable base.
Typical clients are owners of villas and country houses, residential complexes with courtyards, parks and boulevards, hotels and leisure resorts. With the plan the designer works out surface water flow, drainage and irrigation, terraces, lawn and flower bed levels and path gradients, and calculates how much soil must be brought in or removed.
Relief is usually shown at 0.25–0.5 m contours, with spot heights every 3–5 metres and along every break line. Trees and large shrubs are surveyed individually, with species and crown spread noted where required. GNSS RTK is used in open areas and a total station under trees and near buildings; on complex terrain 3D laser scanning can provide a point cloud with millimetre-level detail.
Alongside the AutoCAD plan we deliver a digital terrain model in Civil 3D so that the designer can run slope and elevation analyses directly.
