Land plot boundary staking
Locating and marking the corner points of a land plot from the coordinates in the title documents, before fencing, building or buying the property.
Licensed service · EL-845/2026
Land plot boundary staking restores the boundary on the ground from the corner coordinates given in the title documents, such as the registry extract or plot plan. Very often an old fence, wall or the line a neighbour points to does not coincide with the documented boundary; the difference may be a few centimetres or several metres.
This service is needed before putting up a fence, starting to build a house, or buying and selling land, and whenever a boundary dispute arises with a neighbour. Accurate boundaries are especially important for clients who want to build close to the edge of their plot: if a building or fence crosses onto the neighbouring land, it may later have to be removed. Buyers, in turn, can confirm that the plot on paper matches the plot on the ground.
Staking is done with SOUTH GNSS RTK receivers (±1–2 cm in plan) in the coordinate system of the documents; if needed, coordinates are converted to the national system, WGS-84 or UTM 39N. In dense neighbourhoods where satellite reception is poor, we use a total station. Each corner is fixed with a steel pin or concrete post.
The client receives a certificate with a diagram of the boundary points and any differences between the documents and the situation on site.
