3D laser scanner rental
Rental of SOUTH 3D laser scanners with tripod and targets for capturing point clouds of buildings, facades and industrial facilities.

A 3D laser scanner measures an object with hundreds of thousands of points per second and builds a complete digital copy of it — a point cloud. From this data you can produce facade drawings, floor plans, sections, as-built BIM models and volume calculations. Because scanners are expensive, laser scanner rental for a few projects is often the most rational approach.
Subject to availability, we rent SOUTH terrestrial 3D laser scanners. Depending on the scanner type and range, measurement accuracy is ±2–6 mm, and the built-in camera captures panoramic images to colour the point cloud. The kit includes the scanner, a tripod, sphere or flat targets, spare batteries, a charger, a memory card and a protective case.
Registering and processing scans requires dedicated software. The software licence must be held by the client or its use agreed separately; if you need a powerful computer, a workstation can be rented as well.
At handover we give a short briefing on scan planning, station placement and target use, with technical support during the rental. Periods are daily, weekly or monthly, and document and deposit terms are set by agreement.
