Boundary point restoration
Restoring lost, moved or doubtful boundary marks on site from documented coordinates with GNSS RTK and fixing them with durable markers.

Boundary marks disappear over time: they are pulled out during construction, buried by earthworks or simply knocked out of place. Before you build a fence or a house, or settle a boundary with a neighbour, the most reliable approach is to restore the plot corners on site from the coordinates in your documents. Surveyors call this setting out.
Our surveyor first checks the documented coordinates and the coordinate system they refer to. The points are then set out with a GNSS RTK receiver (horizontal accuracy of ±1–2 cm); where satellite reception is poor, a total station is used. Each point is fixed with a metal pin, dowel or small concrete post and marked with paint.
After restoration we also survey existing fences, walls and buildings along the boundary lines so that any encroachment is clearly visible. If your coordinates are in an older system, we explain in advance the differences that may arise when converting them.
