Survey instrument repair

Field conditions are hard on survey instruments: dust, humidity, the Baku wind and summer heat, tripods tipping over and rough transport. Displays and keypads fail, tangent screws or focusing mechanisms jam, battery contacts corrode, cables and connectors break, and a drop in water can damage the main board.

Every repair starts with diagnostics: we identify the cause, tell you which parts are needed and how long it will take, and start work only after your approval. Typical jobs include restoring mechanical parts, dismantling and cleaning optics, replacing displays, keypads, batteries and chargers, repairing electronic assemblies and renewing seals.

As the official SOUTH distributor, Topoqraf AZ supplies genuine spare parts and official warranty service for SOUTH instruments. Leica, Topcon, Trimble, Sokkia, Nikon and CHC equipment is also accepted for repair; part availability is confirmed at the diagnostics stage.

After repair the instrument is always checked and adjusted, because dismantling affects the axes. All work is recorded in a repair report.
