Topographic survey for gas supply
Topographic survey for gas pipeline design: the route from the connection point to the building, existing networks and relief, for homes, sites and villages.
Licensed service · EL-845/2026
Connecting a new house, shop, workshop or an entire village to the gas network requires a gas pipeline design, and the designer cannot start without a topographic plan of the whole route from the connection point to the consumer. Without it, pipe position, depth, crossings with other networks and protective clearances cannot be determined correctly.
The survey records the existing gas main, buried or above ground, with its diameter and pressure class where known, pressure regulating stations and cabinets, valves, supports and building entry points. Along the route we also measure water, sewer, power and telecom lines, pavements, kerbs, fences and trees so that the designer can choose a safe, code-compliant alignment.
For private houses and small facilities the plan is usually drawn at 1:500 with 0.5 m contours. For village and distribution networks we survey strips along every street and prepare longitudinal profiles where needed. Measurements are taken with GNSS RTK and total stations, and buried lines are traced with electromagnetic locators.
The plan is prepared in line with the technical conditions issued by the gas supplier and the applicable codes (AzDTN/SNiP), and handed over to the designer in DWG format.
