3D building models
Accurate 3D models of existing buildings from laser scanning and drone photogrammetry: facades, roofs, floors and structural elements for design and presentation.

Many buildings in Baku have lost their design documents, or later alterations mean the drawings no longer reflect reality. Refurbishment, adding storeys, facade renovation or preparing property documents all require accurate building geometry. A 3D model presents this information in one place, in a visual and measurable form.
The exterior is captured with terrestrial laser scanners and drone photogrammetry, and the interior with terrestrial or SLAM scanners. All scans are registered in a single coordinate system, and then walls, floors, columns, window and door openings, roofs and stairs are modelled. The level of detail, from a simple massing model to architectural details, is chosen according to the purpose.
The finished model is delivered in SketchUp, Revit, ArchiCAD, AutoCAD or 3ds Max format and can be used directly by architects for design. Plan, section and elevation drawings, area and volume calculations and visualisations can all be produced from it. Where needed, the model can be extended to BIM level.
