Industrial facility models
Models of plants, oil and gas facilities, power stations and ports: process equipment, pipework and site based on design data or laser scans.

An industrial facility model presents a complex process plant — a factory, an oil and gas processing unit, a power station, a terminal or a port — in a clear and compact form. Such models are used in company offices and reception areas, at industry exhibitions, in meetings with investors and public authorities, and in staff training to explain the process.
The model is based on design documents, a 3D plant model or laser scan data of an existing facility. The advantage of Topoqraf AZ is that we can scan an existing installation ourselves and transfer its real geometry to the model. Tanks, columns, pump stations, pipe racks and pipelines are shown at the chosen scale, and site terrain and roads are taken from the topographic plan.
Depending on scale, equipment is made either as general massing or as detailed components. Process flows can be explained with colour-coded pipes or illuminated indicators, and individual units can be shown in cutaway. The model is delivered with a legend, an explanatory panel and a protective cover.
