Water well location plan and coordinates
Determining the coordinates and wellhead elevation of a water well and preparing a location plan with plot boundaries, buildings and protection zone.
When documenting a water well and applying for a water-use permit, the exact coordinates of the well and a plan showing its position on the plot are usually required. The plan must clearly show distances from the well to the plot boundaries, buildings, septic and sewer facilities and other water sources. Rough sketches or coordinates taken with a mobile phone are not reliable enough for this purpose.
We measure the wellhead with a SOUTH GNSS RTK receiver in the national coordinate system with centimetre accuracy and, on request, also provide geographic latitude and longitude (WGS-84). The wellhead elevation is determined in the Baltic height system. At the same time the plot boundaries, buildings and relevant features around the well are surveyed.
Based on this data a well location plan is prepared showing the plot boundaries, buildings, distances from the well to key features and the boundary of the first belt of the sanitary protection zone. A table of well coordinates and elevation is attached.
The service is available in Baku, on Absheron and in all regions of Azerbaijan. The client submits the permit documents to the competent authority; we prepare only the technical survey materials.
