3D models of terrain and cities
Textured 3D models of terrain, neighbourhoods and urban areas from drone photogrammetry and LiDAR, for urban planning, design and presentation.

A 3D terrain model is a digital space that combines relief, buildings, roads, greenery and other features in real coordinates. It shows clearly how a new project will fit into its surroundings, including sight lines, shadows and transport links, and it speeds up decision-making.
The model is based on drone photogrammetry: hundreds or thousands of overlapping aerial images are processed into a textured 3D mesh, a dense point cloud, an orthophoto and a digital surface model. In densely vegetated areas, or where accurate terrain is required, aerial LiDAR data is added. The model is tied to the national grid or UTM zone 39N using ground control points.
Depending on the task, we produce a textured photorealistic model of the site, a city model with simplified building volumes (LOD1–LOD2) or a terrain model. Deliverables are prepared for use in GIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, SketchUp, Cesium and other platforms. We offer this service for urban planning, master plans, tourism and investment projects in Baku and other cities of Azerbaijan.
