GNSS Positioning on a Construction Site

On a site with earthworks under way, measurements were taken with a base receiver on a tripod and a rover on a hand pole. The station was marked on the ground, and coordinates were logged on the field controller.

GNSS makes fast work on open ground possible: as cut and fill change the site, it is measured again and the results are compared with the design.
