Establishing Benchmarks at an Industrial Plant
On the grounds of an operating industrial plant, benchmark locations were chosen and measured with GNSS. The work followed the plant safety rules, with the crew in protective clothing.
Benchmarks like these stay in use for years: future construction, repair and monitoring surveys are tied to them, so their locations are chosen to be stable and accessible.
