Historic monument models
Accurate models of historic buildings, fortresses, mosques and archaeological sites based on 3D scanning and measured surveys — for museums, restoration and tourism.

A model of a historic monument conveys its architectural value, structure and relationship with its surroundings. Such models are used in museum displays, tourist information centres, restoration project presentations, educational institutions and heritage promotion. A model can show the monument as it is today or as a reconstruction of its historic appearance.
Drawings of historic buildings are often missing or do not reflect their actual condition. Topoqraf AZ digitises the monument with a terrestrial laser scanner, drone photogrammetry or a handheld scanner and builds the model from real dimensions. This allows uneven walls, arches, domes, ornamental details and terrain to be reproduced accurately.
Ornaments and complex forms are produced by high-resolution resin 3D printing, then hand painted and given a stone, brick or timber texture. For restoration projects, the existing condition and the proposed solution can be shown in different colours or as removable parts. The model is delivered with an explanatory panel and a protective cover.
