Digital recovery of spare parts
3D scanning of failed, worn or undocumented spare parts, recovery of nominal geometry, and CAD models and drawings for local manufacturing.

Equipment downtime in industrial plants is often caused by a single missing spare part. The manufacturer has discontinued the model, the drawings are lost, or ordering the part from abroad takes weeks or months. Digital spare part recovery creates a production-ready CAD model and drawings from the existing sample, so the part can be made in a local workshop.
Work starts with a high-accuracy 3D scan of the part. For worn or damaged parts, the scan shows the current condition, and our engineers recover the nominal shape using geometric analysis, symmetry, mating part dimensions and standard features such as threads, keyways and bearing seats. Critical dimensions are additionally checked with contact measuring tools where needed.
The result is a parametric CAD model and manufacturing drawings with tolerances and surface finish requirements. These documents are sufficient to remanufacture the part by CNC machining, casting or other methods. The digital model is kept in the plant archive and can be used immediately the next time the part is needed.
