Boundary marker installation
Installation of permanent boundary markers — metal pins, concrete posts or pipes — at plot corners by document coordinates, with a handover record.
Licensed service · EL-845/2026
A boundary marker is a physical mark that records a plot corner on the ground for a long time. Even when coordinates are stated in the documents, without a visible marker it is difficult to build a fence, agree the boundary with a neighbour or plan construction. A temporary wooden peg can disappear within months, while a permanent marker stays in place for years.
We first check the coordinates in the title extract or survey plan and compare them with the actual situation in the national coordinate system. Each corner is then set out with a SOUTH GNSS RTK receiver or a total station, and the marker type agreed with the client is installed: a metal pin driven into the ground, a pipe set in concrete or a concrete post.
After installation, the position of every marker is verified by a control measurement, and the results are recorded in a boundary marker handover record together with the coordinates and a sketch of the points. On request the markers are painted or numbered so that they are easy to find on site.
The service is available in Baku, on the Absheron peninsula and in other regions of Azerbaijan. Installing markers does not legally change the boundaries; it only marks the documented boundary on the ground.
